It is at its most beautiful in the late afternoon, an hour or two before sunset, when the lighthouse is bathed in warm golden light. Early morning is great for a peaceful visit before the groups arrive, and October and November bring dramatic skies over the bay.

حقائق سريعة: عندما يهتاج البحر، يُرى ضوء المنارة البعيدة من مسافة تتجاوز 30 كيلومتراً. في عام 1991 استبدل الضوء القديم للميناء بنظام آلي، لكن البرج ما زال يحافظ على دوره التاريخي.

Do not skip the walk to the very end of the peninsula; the view of Santander from above is worth every step.
