حقائق سريعة: يقف هذا المعبد الأبيض اللامع للسلام بارتفاع 40 متراً على قمة تل في الطرف الجنوبي لسريلانكا، ويوفر إطلالات بانورامية على قلعة غالي والمحيط الهندي. تم بناؤه كواحد من أكثر من 80 معبد سلام في جميع أنحاء العالم من قبل الرهبانية البوذية اليابانية نيبونزان ميوهوجي لتعزيز السلام العالمي بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية.

- The steep uphill walk from Unawatuna beach takes about 15 minutes, so bring water and wear comfortable shoes.
