حقائق سريعة: شكّلت عشرات الآلاف من السنين من الرماد البركاني والتعرية المداخن الخيالية الشهيرة هنا، بعضها يزيد ارتفاعه عن 15 متراً. أعطتها أشكالها القضيبية الواضحة هذا الاسم الوقح للوادي، وتجذب المتنزهين الفضوليين من جميع أنحاء العالم.
النقاط البارزة: عند شروق الشمس، تحوم عشرات المناطيد الساخنة مباشرة فوق هذه التكوينات الصخرية الشاهقة، مما يخلق ظلاً سريالياً ضد السماء الذهبية. يقول المرشدون المحليون إن السر الأفضل حفظاً هو كنيسة الكهف المخفية على طول التلال الشمالية، مع لوحات جدارية باهتة من القرن العاشر يمر معظم الزوار بجانبها دون أن ينتبهوا لها.

- Wear sturdy hiking shoes, the trail has loose gravel and steep sections that get slippery after rain.
- Skip the main viewpoint at the entrance and walk 10 minutes deeper into the valley for quieter, taller formations with no crowds in your photos.
- Bring a flashlight if hiking before sunrise, the trail has no lighting and sections are shaded even after dawn.
- The trail loops for about 4 km total, allow enough time to walk back uphill on the return leg.
