حقائق سريعة: تغذي العائلات المحلية البجع والإوز المقيم في الحديقة منذ عقود، حيث تعود بعض الطيور عاما بعد عام إلى نفس البرك. تقع الحديقة على 200 فدان من الغابات القديمة والبحيرات، وكانت أصلا جزءا من ملكية تعود للقرن التاسع عشر بُنيت حول بحيرة للتجديف من العصر الفكتوري.
النقاط البارزة: امش متجاوزا البحيرة الرئيسية نحو الحافة الغربية الأكثر هدوءا، وستجد مستعمرة طيور بلشون رمادي مخفية تعشش في نفس قمم الأشجار منذ أكثر من 30 عاما. في الصباحات الهادئة، يمكنك مشاهدتها وهي تنقض لصيد السمك في الماء الساكن على بعد أمتار قليلة من الممر.

- Head to the smaller Swan Lake rather than the main boating lake for a more peaceful wildlife experience with fewer crowds.
- The woodchip paths can get muddy after rain, so wear sturdy waterproof shoes or wellies in wet weather.
- Bring birdseed or defrosted frozen peas for the swans and ducks, as bread is bad for their health.
- Visit the small visitor center near the main car park for a free map showing the best walking trails.
