About
حقائق سريعة: You can hear live music almost any night, with over 200 performances scheduled each year and a mix of local bands and touring acts. A stroll through the weekend markets reveals a maze of scents, with smoky barbecue, citrus from craft sodas, and warm pastries fresh from wood-fired ovens.
النقاط البارزة: Step into the main plaza after sunset and the place becomes a patchwork of amber light, live guitar, and the smell of wood-fired pizza from more than 20 nearby eateries. A quirky local ritual has performers lining up for the weekly free concert series, where crowds can swell past 3,000 and a single encore can turn into an impromptu dance circle beneath strings of café lights.
Insider tips
- Wear comfortable shoes, the square has uneven brick and cobblestone underfoot.
- For photos, shoot the fountain and the Market Square sign at golden hour for warm light and fewer shadows.
- Avoid peak dinner hours on Friday and Saturday if you dislike crowds; aim for midafternoon or after 9 pm to find shorter lines.
- On Saturdays arrive early for the farmers market to snag the best produce and to find easier parking nearby.

4.0Brought the kids Sunday at noon; busy but very family friendly. Ice cream and the open plaza kept them happy, though souvenirs were pricey.
Arrived at 9am on a Thursday, almost no crowd. $12 parking but browsing the stalls and people watching was worth it; cafe pastries felt overpriced.
Evening on a Saturday, packed with live music and long lines. $8 pizza was excellent, but bathroom waits and crowded seating took away from the night.
Stopped by at lunch for the food trucks, tacos were great and cheap. Shops felt overpriced and the long lines meant we did not stay long.
