Datos rápidos: El río de los Sueños Dorados conecta el lago Alta con el lago Green, serpenteando a través de 4 kilómetros de pantanos y bosques. Los remeros comparten estas aguas con castores, nutrias y ocasionalmente osos negros avistados en las orillas.

Destacados: En su punto más estrecho, el río se reduce a solo 3 metros de ancho, obligando a los remeros a abrirse paso a través de un túnel de ramas de sauce colgantes. El agua se vuelve de un ámbar brillante al sol de la tarde, coloreada por los taninos que se filtran de las raíces de cedro, lo que da al río su nombre dorado.

• Finish paddling before dusk because the weather in the canyons changes quickly and can become cold.
