Avoid the hourly taxis. Use the local bus system, it saved me a ton of money around Limassol and runs pretty reliably. Get a day pass if you plan on hopping between beaches.\

Mixed feels on Cyprus. Beautiful beaches and laid back vibe but tourist areas felt overpriced and crowded. Food was good but nothing mind blowing. Great for a chill getaway.\

Try the coastal path walks near Paphos early morning to beat heat and crowds. Also, many restaurants close on Mondays, so plan meals accordingly if you're staying a week.

Not sure Cyprus is for everyone. I loved the clear blue sea but the crowds were intense in tourist spots. Some areas felt too tailored to tourists which killed the vibe a bit.\

Cyprus was decent but I was expecting more variety in food options. Weather was nice but it rained a couple days disrupting beach plans. A long weekend was enough for us.\
