Datos rápidos: Este sendero serpenteante por el bosque del Heiligenberg recibió su nombre en honor al poeta alemán Friedrich Hölderlin, quien recorrió estos mismos caminos durante su estancia en Heidelberg. La ruta se extiende aproximadamente 2 kilómetros y cuenta con 12 estaciones con poemas y citas tallados en pilares de piedra.

Destacados: En el punto más alto del sendero encontrarás la Thingstätte, un enorme anfiteatro al aire libre construido en la década de 1930 que ahora acoge conciertos y eventos bajo el dosel de los árboles. Pocos visitantes se dan cuenta de que la conexión real de Hölderlin con Heidelberg fue breve, pero este sendero inmortaliza su profundo afecto por el paisaje de la ciudad en su poema «Heidelberg».
