Datos rápidos: Esta torre de observación de madera se eleva 30 metros a través de un denso dosel forestal en el norte de Baviera. Alrededor de 1,500 tornillos y pernos conectan su inusual diseño, que se mimetiza tan bien con los árboles circundantes que muchos excursionistas pasan directamente frente a ella sin notarla.

Destacados: Toda la estructura de la torre está construida directamente sobre los árboles vivos, con la plataforma rodeando un enorme tronco de haya en lugar de estar separada de él. Los visitantes suben por una escalera de caracol que pasa a centímetros de las ramas y hojas, haciendo que el ascenso se sienta como parte del bosque mismo.
