Su laca bermellón y sus ménsulas intrincadamente talladas han sobrevivido siglos sin ninguna reparación estructural en el marco central.
Destacados: La pagoda y el gran torii cercano están dispuestos tan perfectamente a lo largo del eje del mar Interior de Seto que en ciertos amaneceres, el orbe naciente del sol parece rodar por la aguja dorada de la pagoda.
