Datos rápidos: Una enorme sala al aire libre cubre más de 460 tatamis, pero no tiene paredes, dejando que la brisa marina la atraviese por completo. Estaba destinada a servir como base para la lectura de sutras, pero la construcción se detuvo hace siglos y nunca se reanudó.
Destacados: Las tablas del suelo crujen y gimen bajo tus pies mientras caminas por este pabellón sin techo, y toda la estructura tiembla ligeramente cuando la marea entra por debajo. Desde la plataforma, tienes una vista completamente despejada del famoso torii flotante que emerge del agua, algo que simplemente no puedes experimentar desde ningún otro lugar de la isla.
