Honestly a bit boring for solo travelers. Nice malls and clean streets but not much nightlife or cultural stuff happening. Fine for a quick stop.

Khobar surprised me. The corniche at sunset is beautiful and the seafood is incredible. Just wish there were more walkable areas without a car.

Stayed 3 nights which felt right. Food scene is solid especially the grilled meats. Hot and humid most of the year so plan accordingly.

Hit up the fish market early morning for the freshest catch. There's a small restaurant next door that'll cook whatever you buy for like 10 riyals. Best meal of the trip.

Skip the fancy waterfront restaurants and walk into the old neighborhoods near the souq. Same food for half the price and way more authentic.
