Datos rápidos: The monastery contains frescoes that have survived nearly 800 years and represent the pinnacle of Byzantine painting art in Serbia. The complex has two churches built from white granite and marble, which look impressive in contrast to the surrounding nature.

Destacados: On the church facade there is a unique relief of Christ Pantocrator, which was unique at the time of its creation for its detailed sculptural form. The interior frescoes depict the scene of the Last Judgment with 120 figures, which evoke a mystical atmosphere and attract the attention of historians and artists.
