Datos rápidos: Spread across 12 hectares, you'll find over 500 species of cacti and succulents from five continents arranged in dramatic landscapes. Three distinct biomes simulate everything from the arid deserts of the Americas to the dry landscapes of Africa and Madagascar.
Destacados: The garden hides a rare collection of massive barrel cacti over 200 years old, some weighing more than a ton each. Walk among these ancient spiny giants and you'll see some erupting with bright yellow and pink flower crowns only after seasonal rains.

- Bring a wide-brimmed hat and sunscreen even on cloudy days, as much of the walk is exposed.
- The greenhouse section with Madagascar succulents provides welcome shade and contains the most unusual species in the collection.
- Arrive early and walk the main loop counterclockwise to steadily build to the most spectacular viewpoints.
- Skip the on-site cafe and bring your own water; you'll be outdoors in dry heat and refill stations are scarce.
