Datos rápidos: Más de 20,000 hectáreas abarcan un área donde viven más de 200 especies de aves, incluyendo el buitre leonado con una envergadura de casi 2.8 metros. El parque recibe aproximadamente 2500 mm de lluvia anualmente, siendo uno de los lugares más húmedos de España, lo que sostiene su exuberante vegetación y diversa flora.
