Datos rápidos: Fundada alrededor del siglo XII, esta iglesia románica domina el puerto de Portofino desde una pequeña colina. Su fachada de piedra blanca y su interior de mármol rayado en blanco y negro se inspiran en iglesias similares de Génova y la costa de Liguria.
Destacados: Dentro del modesto santuario cuelga un crucifijo de madera centenario ante el que los pescadores solían rezar antes de hacerse a la mar. Los lugareños dicen que la cruz sobrevivió milagrosamente a una devastadora tormenta del siglo XIX que destruyó la mayor parte de la flota pesquera del puerto.
