Faits rapides: Il se compose de quatre anciens palais reliés entre eux, ce qui en fait l'un des plus grands ensembles seigneuriaux du sud de la France. Le plus ancien de ces palais remonte au XIe siècle et a résisté aux guerres des croisés contre les cathares.
