Faits rapides: Il s'agit de l'une des rares églises en bois de Lituanie conservées dans leur forme gothique, avec un clocher unique de 27 mètres de haut qui domine le lac Gávė. À l'intérieur de l'église est conservée une rare copie de la Vierge de Trakai, considérée comme miraculeuse par les fidèles locaux.
Points forts: L'église possède un escalier caché de 52 marches qui mène au sommet du clocher, où la vue sur le lac et le château de Trakai est littéralement magique. Peu de gens savent que sous le plancher se trouve un couloir souterrain qui aurait autrefois relié l'église au château voisin.
