त्वरित तथ्य: मैरी लीके ने 1937-1938 में इस स्थल की खुदाई की और जीवन की दो परतें पाईं, नीचे पाषाण युग की बस्ती और उसके ऊपर लौह युग का गाँव। मिट्टी के बर्तनों से लेकर ओब्सीडियन औज़ारों तक 5,000 से अधिक कलाकृतियाँ अब दूर झील की ओर देखने वाले एक छोटे संग्रहालय में रखी हैं।
मुख्य आकर्षण: पहाड़ी के पश्चिमी किनारे पर पुरातत्वविदों ने लगभग 19 नवपाषाण काल की कब्रें पाईं, जिनमें सिकुड़ी हुई मुद्रा में दफ़न कंकाल थे, कुछ सीप के हार से सजे हुए थे। संध्या के समय वहाँ की ज्वालामुखी चट्टान की दीवारें नारंगी रंग से जगमगाती हैं और घास के मैदान की सूखी हवा अपने पूर्वजों की कोमल आवाज़ लाती लगती है।
