Best from June to September, when the trails are free of snow and the waterfalls have full flow. An early morning start helps you avoid the crowds and provides the best light for photographing the canyon walls.

The best photos of the waterfalls are taken from the Faja de Pelay viewpoint, 200 meters above the valley floor.
