Brze činjenice: Riječ je o jednoj od rijetkih drvenih crkava u Litvi koje su sačuvale gotički oblik, s jedinstvenim zvonikom visokim 27 metara koji dominira nad jezerom Galvė. Unutar crkve čuva se rijetka kopija Gospe od Trakaja, koju mjesni vjernici smatraju čudotvornom.
Istaknuto: Crkva ima skriveno stubište od 52 stepenice koje vodi na vrh zvonika, odakle je pogled na jezero i dvorac Trakai doslovno očaravajući. Malo tko zna da se ispod poda nalazi podzemni prolaz za koji se vjeruje da je nekada povezivao crkvu sa susjednim dvorcem.
