Don’t just eat near the harbor. Walk two streets inland for cheaper, more traditional spots. One place called La Bodega super fresh and affordable.
Estepona has a charming old town vibe and great seafood. Weather was mostly sunny, perfect for relaxing at the beach. Stayed 4 days and felt it was just right.
Food is tasty but a bit pricey compared to other parts of Spain. Loved the local tapas bars though, especially by the marina. Perfect for a chilled weekend.
The beaches are lovely but can get crowded in summer. Visiting off-season would be better if you want peace. Not much nightlife if you’re expecting that.
If you want to visit the Orchidarium, go early in the morning right at opening. Less crowds and cooler temps make it way more enjoyable. Plus, it’s cheaper to park nearby then.
