Fatti rapidi: È una delle poche chiese in legno della Lituania conservate nella loro forma gotica, con un campanile unico alto 27 metri che domina il lago Galvė. All'interno è custodita una rara copia della Madonna di Trakai, considerata miracolosa dai fedeli locali.
Punti salienti: La chiesa ha una scala nascosta di 52 gradini che porta alla cima del campanile, dove la vista sul lago e sul castello di Trakai è letteralmente mozzafiato. Pochi sanno che sotto il pavimento c'è un passaggio sotterraneo che si dice un tempo collegasse la chiesa al castello vicino.
