クイックファクト: 築600年以上のこの元アウグスティノ会修道院庭園は、帝国、疫病、二度の世界大戦を生き延び、ヨーロッパ最古の植物園のひとつであり続けています。その温室コレクションには樹齢150年のヤシの木があり、天井を突き破るほど高く育ち、現在はガラスの上に2階分そびえています。

見どころ: 見た目に特徴のない石壁の背後には、樹齢130年の鉄製温室が隠れています。毎年4月になると巨大なフジが紫の蛇のように枠組みに巻き付きます。ほとんどの訪問者は入口を通り過ぎてしまうため、曲がりくねった砂利道と木陰のベンチは、晴れた週末でもほとんど空いています。
