Fischertor

概要

クイックファクト: オーストリアで現存する数少ない中世の市門の一つで、落とし格子と跳ね橋でハインブルクへの入口を守ってきた。門の名称はフィッシャー（漁師）地区に由来し、その住民たちは何世紀にもわたって近くのドナウ川の漁業権を維持してきた。

見どころ: 96段の曲がりくねった石段を塔の頂上まで登ると、かつてドナウ川が城壁に打ち寄せていた正確な場所を見渡せる。頭上に今も吊るされたままのオリジナルの木製落とし格子は、700年以上前、攻撃の際に守備兵が落としたであろうまさにそのものである。
