概要
クイックファクト: 100を超える職人の工房がこの19世紀の石畳の通りに軒を連ね、それぞれが銅細工、木彫り、陶器などの工芸を専門としています。工房と工房の間にひっそりと店を構える小さな食堂からは、焼きピーマンと焼きたてのバニツァの香りが漂ってきます。
見どころ: 正午になると、通り沿いの銅細工職人たちがずらしてリズムを刻みながら金槌を打ち鳴らします。その音はまるで音楽のようで、100年以上も変わらない生きたサウンドトラックです。職人が平らな銅板を、手工具と何世紀も受け継がれた技法だけを使って20分足らずで輝く鍋に変える様子を見ることができます。
