概要
クイックファクト: ノースサスカチュワン川から48メートルの高さにそびえ、その種の橋としては世界最長かつ最高を誇ります。二層のデッキはかつて上部を路面電車が通り、下部を列車と車両が通行していた、1913年の工学の傑作です。
見どころ: 1994年以来毎年10月31日、橋の上層デッキは「ザ・ドロップ」と呼ばれるチャリティーバンジージャンプ台に変身し、200人以上のジャンパーが川に向かって飛び降り、地元の非営利団体のための資金を集めます。オリジナルの路面電車のレールが今も上層デッキに敷かれており、木の板の間から歩いているときに見ることができます。
