The complex spans over 120,000 square meters and contains more than 1,000 rooms spread across traditional Chinese gardens and Western-style administrative buildings.
見どころ: Tucked inside the complex is a quiet Western-style garden and early elevator installed by Chiang Kai-shek's government, one of the first working elevators in all of China at the time. You can still step into that original elevator car, with its brass grille and manual sliding gate, a surprising piece of 1930s technology hidden among ancient pavilions.
