見どころ: 縦77センチ、横53センチの小さなモナ・リザは、1911年に修理工ヴィンチェンツォ・ペルッジャが盗んで2年間アパートの床下に隠していたという実話があるから、今でも1日に数千人がその前に集まる光景を見ると絵の小ささとのギャップに笑ってしまうよ。地下の展示スペースには12世紀にフィリップ2世が築いた城壁の石組みが残っていて、ライトに照らされた古い石のひんやりした手触りとほんのり土の匂いが意外なほど生々しいんだ。
