Naxos has an amazing vibe, really chill but lively too. The food is fresh and cheap, especially the seafood. Wish I stayed longer to explore more beaches!
Overall it was a mixed bag for me. Beautiful scenery but some places felt a bit too touristy and pricey. The local cheese made it worth the trip though.
If you get a ferry pass early, it saves a lot over buying single tickets to nearby islands. Also, rent a scooter to dodge bus schedules and see hidden gems.
Expect hot days but breezy evenings in summer. Perfect for beach hopping but pack sunscreen, the sun is strong here. Three days is just right if you focus on the main spots.
Avoid the restaurants right in Chora center unless you want to overpay. Walk just 5 mins out to smaller tavernas for authentic meals and way better prices.
