概要
クイックファクト: 夕暮れ時に歩くと、鉄製の鎖や厳かなライオンの彫像が奇妙に劇的に感じられ、照明が水上の橋をきらめくリボンに変えます。長く続く伝説ではライオンに舌がないと言われていますが、よく見ると舌は影に隠れて彫られており、多くの訪問者を驚かせます。
見どころ: ウィリアム・ティアニー・クラークが設計し、スコットランドの技師アダム・クラークのもとで建設されたこの橋は1849年に初めて開通し、1945年に爆破されましたが、ちょうど100年後の1949年に見事に再建され再開されました。訪問者は4体のヤーノシュ・マルシャルコ制作の石のライオン彫刻を二度見し、噛み合わせをよく見ようと近づきます。地元の長年の冗談でライオンに舌がないと言われていますが、よく見ると歯の後ろに小さな舌が彫られているのがわかります。

- 丈夫な靴を履いてください。冬場は、舗装がでこぼこで滑りやすいことがあります。
- ペスト川沿いに走る2番トラムに乗れば、低コストで景色や写真撮影のスポットを楽しめます。
- 橋の真ん中あたりで国会議事堂に向かって立つと、定番の撮影ができます。混雑している手すりに寄りかからないように注意してください。
