クイックファクト: ここではテクトニックな力が地面を引き裂き、劇的な裂け目、崖、そして中大西洋海嶺を海面上に露出させる透明度の高い裂け目のプールが作られています。かつて自然の岩の台座で国内議会が開かれ、法律を話す人々が群衆に対して演説し、初期の法律慣習の形成に貢献しました。
見どころ: 930年から1798年までロッグベルグという平らな岩の突出部で議会が開かれました。記録者は天気の良い日に最大1万人の集まりを記録しています。冷たく湧き水で満たされた裂け目は非常に澄んでいて、30メートル以上の深さまで見ることができ、ドライスーツを着たダイバーが大陸プレートの間をサファイア色に照らされた超現実的なトンネルで泳ぎます。
