概要
クイックファクト: 玄武岩の崖と柱状溶岩の形成がぎざぎざの海岸線を作り、波が自然のアーチや岩柱を突き抜けます。夏には数百羽の海鳥と時折好奇心旺盛なアザラシが岩の上に上がります。
見どころ: 海岸の道は特に写真映えする海のアーチを額縁のようにし、10〜15秒ごとに押し寄せる波が豪快な轟音をたて、長時間露光に最適です。地元の語り部は今も孤立した崖の頂上にある石塚を指し示し、かつて漁師たちがピークシーズンに漁獲を数十単位で数えた場所と伝えます。
