クイックファクト: ヴィシュヌの化身としてのクリシュナに捧げられたこの寺院の名前は、マハーバーラタから「アルジュナの御者」と訳される。聖域には五つのヴィシュヌの姿が一つの祠に納められており、これは南インドのヴィシュヌ派寺院では珍しい。
見どころ: 毎年行われる戦車祭では、400年前の木製の戦車が何百人もの信者によってトリプリケインの通りを引きずられ、その巨大な車輪は伝統の重みできしむ。寺院の内壁には、神話の獅子やヤリを彫った24本の柱があり、それぞれがプラーナ文献に登場する忘れ去られた物語を語っている。
