Snack at local markets instead of tourist cafes, especially around 4pm when vendors lower prices to clear stock.
Prices are reasonable but some of the touristy spots hike their rates. Best to check prices upfront and bargain a little.
Weather was great but pack for rain, it can turn quick in Tabanan. Stayed 3 days and that felt just right to explore without rush.
Avoid the main road taxis, they tend to rip off travelers. Instead, rent a scooter for about $5 a day, way cheaper and flexible.
If you love rice terraces and nature, this place is gold. But beware, some spots need a bit of trekking, so wear good shoes.
