クイックファクト: 高さ32メートルのドームの下では、日中を通して太陽光が変化し、内壁に孔雀の尾のような幻影を生み出す。このモスクは王家専用の祈りのために建てられたもので、公の礼拝用ではないため、ミナレットは一度も建てられなかった。
見どころ: ドームの中心、高さ32メートルの場所に孔雀の形をした小さな開口部があり、一日の特定の時間に太陽光が差し込む。その光の束はモスクの壁面を伝い、あたかも全ての装飾に触れようとするかのように動き、春分の日には正確にミフラーブ（礼拝用の龕）を照らし出す。
