予算のヒント
公園自体は完全無料で入場でき、ほとんどのトレイルヘッドの駐車場は約4〜5ユーロ（グレンダーローの上部駐車場は8ユーロ）です。トレイルヘッド付近の数少ないカフェは観光客向けの値段なので、昼食と水は自分で持参しましょう。夏の週末には無料のガイド付きウォークを実施しているか、公園のウェブサイトで確認してください。

概要
クイックファクト: 約500平方キロメートルに広がるブランケットボグ、ヒースランド、氷河渓谷がこの広大な国立公園を構成しており、国内最大級の規模を誇ります。毎年190万人以上が訪れ、その大部分がグレンダーロッフ渓谷に集中しており、6世紀の修道院跡を見学するために多くの人が足を運びます。
見どころ: 標高925メートルのラグナキラは最高峰としてそびえ立ちますが、雲の流れ込みが速く景色が20分ごとに変わるため、ほとんどの登山者が山頂を見ることはありません。ウィックロー・ウェイは古い牛追い道や巡礼路に沿って131キロメートルにわたり続いており、何世紀にもわたって巡礼者たちが悲しみと感謝を胸に歩んできた同じ道を辿ることができます。

- 週末はグレンダーローの混雑するグリーン・ロードを避け、同じくらい見事な景色が楽しめる静かなポウラナス滝トレイルへ向かいましょう。
