概要

見どころ: 65メートルの樽型アーチを持つ図書館のホールに足を踏み入れると、最初に感じるのは温かく蜂蜜のような木の香りと、約20万冊の革装丁の本の列、そして14世紀のゲール語のハープが古い物語を語るかのようにそびえ立つガラスケースです。800年頃の手書きの福音書は、赤と緑が余白の小さな動物の顔と絡み合う陽気なキ・ローのページを開き、保存修復師によれば、一部の顔料は非常に繊細で、拡大鏡で個々の筆毛を見ることができるそうです。
