見どころ: 想像してみてください。最大8万人を収容できる巨大な円形劇場があり、舞台下には複雑なトラップドアとエレベーターのシステムが整っていて、剣闘士や野生動物が突然現れて観客を驚かせていました。ローマ人は『ヴェラリウム』という巨大な日よけを張り、熟練した船乗りが操作して暑い日には観客席に日陰を作り、古代の海事技術がスペクタクルに加わっていました。
