クイックファクト: 慎重に照らされた水槽があるコンパクトで現代的な空間に入り、クラゲは漂う灯籠のように見え、都市の沿岸種と浅く砂の多い生息地を共有しています。知識豊富なスタッフが間近での餌やりと短い講話を行い、海洋保護を身近で思わぬほど個人的なものに感じさせます。
見どころ: 薄暗い展示室と回転する色の照明がクラゲの展示をゆっくり動く光の彫刻に変え、そのベルの収縮は深い青の光の中で柔らかく催眠的です。飼育員の話では、ペンギンが閲覧窓のすぐそばで水しぶきを上げる音が聞こえ、塩とオゾンの微かな匂いが漂い、わずか数センチの距離でペンギンが泳ぎ、羽づくろいをする様子が見られます。
