概要
クイックファクト: 鳥居の奥に佇むこぢんまりとした神社には、曲がりくねった小道と3,000本以上のツツジがあり、春になるとピンク、白、マゼンタの層状の花が咲き誇ります。朱色の鳥居が木陰の空間を彩り、静かな池や漆塗りの社殿が、落ち着いた、まるで映画のような雰囲気を醸し出しています。
見どころ: ツツジのアーチの下をくぐると、約3,000本の花が香り高いトンネルを作り、甘く濃い空気の中で、足音より先に色が目に飛び込んできます。地元の人々は今も小さな木製の絵馬を低い祠に納めており、その多くに漢字で願い事が手書きされ、数十枚も積み重なっています。触れたくなるような、生きたタイムカプセルです。

- 歩きやすい靴を履いてください。道には石段や砂利道、狭い通路があります。
