クイックファクト: リトアニア各地から160以上の歴史的建物がここに一つずつ移設され、195ヘクタールに及ぶヨーロッパ最大級の野外博物館が形成されています。それぞれの建物は、木造の村の教会から茅葺きの農場、風車、今も食事を提供する本格的な19世紀の居酒屋まで、異なる物語を語っています。

見どころ: 完全に稼働する19世紀の水車小屋は、今もオリジナルの木製ギアと水車を使用して粉を挽いており、挽きたての粉を家に持ち帰ることもできます。夏のフェスティバルでは、地元の人々が当時の衣装を身にまとい、亜麻加工や鍛冶を実演し、世代を超えて受け継がれたレシピでビールを醸造することもあります。
