Stayed just two days and felt rushed. The city is charming but quite small. Would recommend 3 days to soak in the vibe without feeling bored.
Crowds were a bit much around the Upper Barrakka Gardens, but the views were totally worth it. Loved the local bakeries, especially pastizzi!
Enjoyed the blend of old and new in Valletta. The harborside cafés have a chill vibe. Expect to pay more for food near the waterfront, plan accordingly.
If you like history, Valletta’s museums are gold. Though, it felt a bit touristy with souvenir shops everywhere, still a unique experience.
Avoid eating at the tourist traps near the main entrance. Walk a few blocks inland and you find authentic Maltese dishes at local prices.
