クイックファクト: 約1,200人のウロス族の人々が、トトラ葦だけで作られた手編みの浮島およそ60島に今も暮らしています。島々は絶えず手入れをしなければならず、2週間ごとに葦の新しい層を積み足さないと、ゆっくりと腐ってチチカカ湖に沈んでしまいます。
