クイックファクト: 潮の香りを帯びた空気と絶え間ない潮騒の中、木道、干潟、低い砂丘を縫うように曲がりくねった全長10キロメートルのトレイルが続く。バードウォッチャーは早朝を狙って訪れ、浅いラグーンに集まるフラミンゴやダイシャクシギの群れを含む40種以上の鳥を観察する。
見どころ: 浅いラグーンは巨大な銀の板のように輝き、50羽以上のピンク色のフラミンゴが水面に点在し、幻想的な波紋の反射を生み出す。わずかな地元の家族連れが今も夕暮れ時に300メートルの砂州を歩き、目とランタンを頼りにマテガイを採取する。その習慣が、近くのカフェから漂う湿った砂とニンニク炒めの鋭い香りで空気を満たす。
