見どころ: 海を見下ろす高い場所にある薄暗い地下室には、1922年に亡命先で亡くなったオーストリア皇帝カール1世の質素な大理石の墓がある。真鍮の銘板には「カール」とだけ刻まれている。毎年8月15日には約1000人の人々が聖母被昇天の行列のために急な石畳の道を登り、ろうそくが揺れ、歌声が響き渡る。白亜の礼拝堂は暖かな光と香の香りに包まれる。
