クイックファクト: 1620年制作の天井画が今もここに残っている。何世紀もの間、白塗りの下に隠されていたが、1970年代に再発見された。修復された6つの部屋には500点以上の品々が展示されており、17世紀の商人の会計所から、稼働状態にある18世紀のキッチンまでを見ることができる。
見どころ: 1617年、この建物を所有していたのはトマス・グレッドステインズという布地商人であった。彼のイニシャルは今も外側の石に刻まれている。最上階のアーチ型天井の部屋には、かつて彼の最も高価な織物が保管されていた。壁の厚さは約1メートルもあり、湿気の多い1階から織物を守っていたのである。
