クイックファクト: ノヴィ・サドの中心に立つ聖母マリア大聖堂は1895年に建てられ、その76メートルの尖塔は市内で最も高い建造物です。元々この場所にあったロマネスク様式の教会は1849年の爆撃で破壊されました。
