クイックファクト: ルッジェーロ2世、ハインリヒ6世、フリードリヒ2世を含む4人のノルマン朝の統治者が、身廊内の彫刻が施された石棺に眠っています。1841年に象嵌された真鍮の子午線には今も細い太陽の光が当たり、ほとんどの時計よりもはるかに古い、今も機能する天文機器となっています。
