概要

クイックファクト: 楕円形の広場が占める土地は1894年まで開けた海で、その年に作業者たちが港を埋め立てて現在の広場が作られました。1692年にここで生まれたバロックのヴァイオリニスト、ジュゼッペ・タルティーニは、地元の人々が「フィドラー」とあだ名したブロンズ像で顕彰されています。
